Lefty Balletta Leads Westwood to 3-0 Win
|
The Westwood Bruins, behind a great outing from Tom Balletta, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2023 draft, defeated the Dillonvale Indians, 3-0, at Black Diamonds Ballpark. Lorenzo Landin sewed up the save, his 10th. The Bruins, at 60-43, lead by one game in their division.
Balletta gave Westwood a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-2 left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
When asked about his performance after the game, Balletta said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
