Riding the 2-hit performance of the 22-year old first baseman Mike Chaloux, the London Werewolves defeated the Columbus Bowsers, 9-2. The Werewolves now have a mark of 83-55.

With London leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Chaloux batted against Columbus pitcher Ernesto Correa. Chaloux hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 15th home run of the season put the Werewolves on top, 6-0.

Said losing manager Joe Mills: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
