Branden Covington, who is rated as the 87th best prospect by BNN, imposed his will on the Widowmakers from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the left-hander spearheaded the 5-1 Barrie triumph. In 6.1 innings, Covington surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run.
