The Partons grabbed a win, 4-0, at Dolly Parton Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Bangor pitcher Mike Reich. Reich went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. The first-place Partons, at 103-34, now lead their division by 28½ games.

Colby Freese cracked a home run off Mike Reich in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Partons on top, 2-0. In all, Freese had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
