Admirals Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Barrie Admirals had to overcome a fine effort from Kalamazoo pitcher Michael Brumfield to win, 4-3, at Wizards Stadium. Brumfield went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Rafael Baray picked up his 23rd save of the season. The second-place Admirals go to 80-57.

Barrie needed the clutch hitting of Jimmy Rash to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Admirals on top, 4-3. For the game, Rash had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

After the game, Barrie manager Manny Uset applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
