Getting a good performance from first baseman Butch Weeks, the Dollywood Partons defeated the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-2. Weeks went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Partons. The winning continues for Dollywood, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.

Jason Perrigin was 1 for 2 with 2 walks for Dollywood. The 20-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jose Guzman. It was his 17th walk of the season.
