The London Werewolves went down to defeat to Lorenzo Martinez and his Nashua teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Sweepers. In 6 innings, Martinez surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The Sweepers now have a record of 69-66 with the win over London.
Eddie Hull had a big 2-run home run for the Sweepers in the bottom of the first inning. With Nashua leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Juan Ramirez, who is tied for 9th in the S-A in quality starts with 13, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sweepers ahead, 3-0.
