Tropics Need Extra Frames to Get Past Bowsers
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the White Deer Tropics and Columbus Bowsers.

White Deer starter Scott Robertson pitched well against the Columbus Bowsers at Ballpark of Columbus. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3, in 10 innings. The third-place Tropics go to 74-60.

White Deer used a clutch hit from Danny Arrieta to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Tropics ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Robertson.
