Jason Ogden led Mexico City to a triumph over Pueblo. The final score was 8-7. The shortstop went 3 for 5, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 2 RBI. Mexico City pitcher Ramon Rivera got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Steve Sullivan got the loss.

Luke Sharp's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant, coming with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the game tied, 2-2. The Mexico City catcher hit a 2-run single off Matthew Tapscott to put the Aztecs up.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Mexico City manager Dan Martinez.
