Eddie Robinson, who is tied for 5th in the S-A in strikeouts with 144, propelled his team to victory over the Dollywood Partons. The final score was 7-5, Long Beach. Bill Pendola, now 3-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. At 49-85, the Keys find themselves in 5th place in the Southern A West Division.

Long Beach grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, David Cheesman delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5, in favor of the Keys.
