The Nashua Sweepers beat the Kalamazoo Comets, 4-2. Nashua pitcher and Minneapolis, Minnesota, native Logan Gustin led the way. Gustin got the win, improving to 5-5. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Mark Williams notched his 16th save in 20 chances.
Jesse Lang had a direct impact on the outcome. Lang contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Nashua up, 2-1.
