Bowsers Score Late to Beat Sweepers, 4-3
The Columbus Bowsers downed the Nashua Sweepers, 4-3, at Miller Park. Carlos Malabranca led the way, going 3-for-6 for Columbus. Columbus reliever Joseph Piotrowski picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Carlos Palmas took the loss. The Bowsers improved their record to 69-64 by beating Nashua.

Malabranca had a game-changing double in the top of the 12th. On a first pitch changeup from Carlos Palmas, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Bowsers a 4-3 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Malabranca.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Malabranca.
