Griffitt Helps Chicago Outscore San Francisco
Ryan Griffitt was the difference-maker for the Chicago Gangsters in what turned into a shootout with the San Francisco Fire. Griffitt, who finished 5th in the NC in doubles with 41 in 2014, went 3-for-5 in the 15-10 Gangsters win. Brian Hammond nailed down the save. The Gangsters raised their record to 27-47.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Griffitt hit a sinker from Taylor Motyl for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Gangsters ahead, 3-0.

"It never gets old," said Griffitt. "Winning, that is."
