Partons Squelch Admirals Offense in Shutout Win
The Dollywood Partons rode a solid performance from 24-year-old starting pitcher Adam Begue to a win, beating the Barrie Admirals, 4-0, at Dolly Parton Ballpark. Begue got the win, improving to 12-5. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs. The win puts Dollywood at 97-34 this season.

Colby Freese hit a 2-run home run off Andy Strong in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Partons ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Freese had 1 double, while going 2 for 3.

"That was a really good outing by Adam," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
