Barrie Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Austin
The first-place Dollywood Partons picked up another win.

Barrie got a terrific game from left fielder John Austin. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Dollywood, 10-5. Austin was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Dollywood is now 96-34, 8½ games up in the Southern A East Division.

Jesus Garciduenas swatted a grand slam home run for Dollywood in the bottom of the sixth. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 5.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
