Werewolves Victorious at Kalamazoo, 9-0
|
The London Werewolves topped the Kalamazoo Comets, 9-0, in Southern A action at Wizards Stadium. The standout performance belonged to London pitcher and Tysons Corner, Virginia, native Micah Smith. The third-place Werewolves lifted their record to 77-52.
Josh Scales helped out the London cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Scales said.
