A good performance from third baseman Dean Hostetler helped the Mexico City Aztecs defeat the Nashua Sweepers, 8-4. Hostetler was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Aztecs. The defeat makes Nashua 66-63.

Jason Ogden had a big bases-clearing triple for the Aztecs in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Mexico City leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ray Vernier and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 4th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aztecs ahead, 8-4.
