Comets Pull Off Thrilling 8-7 Win in Extras
The Kalamazoo Comets beat the London Werewolves, 8-7, in 10 innings. Kalamazoo pitcher and Unknown, native Jim Unknown led the way. The Comets now own a record of 55-73.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Kalamazoo third baseman Pat Bell, facing Angel Garabito, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Comets the 8-7 win.

"Jim pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Kalamazoo manager Morgan Van Dyke.
