Breene Excels in 5-3 Pueblo Win
The Pueblo Heroes dealt the Long Beach Keys a 5-3 loss at Heroes Ballpark. Eric Breene, who leads the S-A with a 1.132 OPS, was the star on offense. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Nick Ashworth recorded the save for Pueblo, his 21st of the season. This win makes it 8 in a row for Pueblo.

Breene had a timely hit for Pueblo in the bottom of the seventh. With Pueblo trailing 3-0, he turned a first pitch curveball into a grand slam home run. It was his 35th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Pueblo.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson. "It's usually not just one thing."
