Columbus Charts 4-2 Win Over Mexico City
Rey Tovar had a strong outing for the Columbus Bowsers against the Mexico City Aztecs at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. With the win, Columbus pushed its record to 67-61.

Mike Beauford delivered a big hit for Columbus. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bowsers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Beauford. "And not try to do too much."
