Poplar Bluff Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Todd Korn left his imprint on the 5-4 Poplar Bluff win against the Kalamazoo Comets. Korn, who is tied for 8th in the S-A with a .292 batting average, was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Poplar Bluff reliever Pat Eisen snagged the win, upping his record to 5-8. Jordan Santiago shouldered the loss. The Comets have now dropped 6 straight.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Poplar Bluff. That's when Matt Flood hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Jordan Santiago to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The crowd was raucous," said Flood.
