Poplar Bluff Still On the Schneid After 8-1 Loss to Partons
The Dollywood Partons beat the Poplar Bluff Hillbillies, 8-1, at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The win was due in part to designated hitter Chris McCarty, who was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Jamel Thomas picked up his 2nd save of the season. The losses continue to add up for Poplar Bluff, having now dropped 8 straight.

The Partons picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
