The Barrie Admirals overcame a good performance by Dollywood third baseman Tyler Talton to knock off Dollywood, 8-7, in 10 innings at Stadia de Leones. Talton went 3 for 5 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the win, Barrie pushed its record to 83-40.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Barrie. That's when Daniel Friedrich hit a solo home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Andy Roberts to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Friedrich.
