Behind the bravura of third baseman Cesar Mena, the Bangor Lumberjacks topped the Columbus Bowsers by the score of 14-2. Mena went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Lumberjacks. Bangor starter Nick Carrier was credited with the win after throwing 113 pitches over 8.1 innings. His record now stands at 10-3. Gilberto Cruzgonzalez had a big 3-run home run for the Lumberjacks in the top of the first inning.
