Comets Take Nail-Biter Over Bowsers
Due in part to first baseman Nick Nicholson, the Kalamazoo Comets chopped down the Columbus Bowsers, 7-6, in 10 innings. Nicholson hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The third-place Bowsers dropped to 62-58.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Kalamazoo. That's when Miguel Garcia hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Adams to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Nicholson said.
