5 Straight Wins for Partons

The Dollywood Partons did just enough to sneak past the Columbus Bowsers, 4-3, at Ballpark of Columbus. Dollywood pitcher Kevin Menichini, in particular, had a standout performance. John Wicken closed the door for Dollywood, picking up his 10th save of the year. This win makes it 5 in a row for Dollywood.
Dollywood used a clutch hit from Justin Teehan to get the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Partons ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
"Kevin's good, period," said Dollywood manager Adam Freeman.
