The Barrie Admirals besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Bangor third baseman Mark Brown by beating the Lumberjacks, 14-7, at Stadia de Leones. Brown belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win gives Barrie a season record of 71-48.

Jon Rook hit a bases-clearing double off Israel Parez in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Admirals in front, 10-7. In addition to the double, Rook had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Rook told the Barrie Today.
