Admirals Take Nail-Biter Over Lumberjacks
|
No one was more impactful than Arturo Tinoco in an extra-inning, 5-2 Barrie win over Bangor. Tinoco was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Barrie reliever Joey Bove was the winner. His record is now 4-1. The losing pitcher was Jamie Knudson. The second-place Admirals now have a record of 70-47.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Tinoco hit a fastball from Mike Lopez for a 3-run home run. The Admirals, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
