The White Deer Tropics defeated the Pueblo Heroes, 5-2, at Heroes Ballpark. Leading the charge for White Deer was third baseman Danny Clemons. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. White Deer reliever Javier Torres picked up the win to move to 3-2. Jon Caruso suffered the loss. The defeat makes Pueblo 77-42.

White Deer took a 5-2 lead on Clemons's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Jon Caruso in the top of the seventh, propelled White Deer to the win.

"It was just a matter of executing," said White Deer manager Gabriel Gonzalez.
