The Bangor Lumberjacks topped the Mexico City Aztecs, 1-0, in Southern A action at Ballpark of Bangor. The standout performance belonged to Bangor pitcher and Jersey City, New Jersey, native Mike Reich. Bangor is now 56-61, Mexico City 87-30.

In the bottom of the third, Josh Higgs delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Bangor designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, putting the Lumberjacks in front, 1-0.
