Long Beach Keys starter Josh Boyd was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Mexico City Aztecs, 5-3. Josh DeYoe wrapped it up, recording his 5th save. Long Beach currently is in 5th place in the Southern A West Division at 42-75.

Long Beach took a 4-3 lead on Brett McAdams's 15th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which McAdams hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Mexico City pitcher Junior Millner visibly frustrated.

McAdams attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
