The Columbus Bowsers beat the Pueblo Heroes, 4-1, at Heroes Ballpark. Starting pitcher David Procaccini was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The winner was Procaccini. He threw 7.2 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Brad Scioli. Josh Adams earned his 25th save, after closing out the game.

Richard Cassidy had a direct impact on the outcome. Cassidy contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Columbus up, 4-1.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Cassidy told the Columbus Today.
