Purple Wave Claim Late Win
The New Rochelle Purple Wave polished off the Quebec Aces by the score of 7-4. The largest share of the credit belonged to shortstop Travis Stroupe. Stroupe went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Purple Wave. New Rochelle reliever Sean Harris was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Kevin McDonald took the loss. The Purple Wave saw their record improve to 50-52.

Stroupe had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 3-1 sinker from Kevin McDonald, he banged a grand slam home run to left-center, giving the Purple Wave a 7-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Stroupe.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Stroupe.
