The Denver Pilots took Quebec pitcher Ray Fight's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Pilots Ballpark. The final score had Denver getting past the Fighting Quakers, 3-1. Fight went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 2. Carlos Martinez got credit for the win, improving to 6-4. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. The Pilots improved to 41-59.

Denver designated hitter Gus Marquez helped the Pilots go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Marquez hit a run-scoring single off Quebec pitcher Ray Fight.

Denver manager Byung-sik Lee called it "a pretty good win."
