The Orono Oaks dealt the Spokane Selects a 6-5 loss at University of Maine Stadium. Kevin Morrow was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Mickey Green, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4 innings. The second-place Oaks lifted their record to 57-43.

Morrow contributed in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Orono get the win.
