Purple Wave Win, 9-3, Versus Denver
The 9-3 New Rochelle win over Denver was due largely to Dan Brewer. The Purple Wave left fielder went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Michael Klee came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-2. New Rochelle has a record of 56-44, placing them third in the Stripes Conference East Division.

New Rochelle used the timely hitting of Dave Acosta to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Purple Wave on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

New Rochelle manager William Gregg commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
