Columbus pitcher Carlos del Valle did his part in helping his team beat the Lake Elsinore Storm, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Columbus pitcher Scott Chrysler earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Adam Gabriella suffered the loss. The slumping Storm have dropped 8 in a row.
