The Columbus Bowsers trumped the Pueblo Heroes, 3-1, at Heroes Ballpark. Columbus first baseman Ivan Diaz was terrific. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. David Procaccini was the winner. Over 6 innings, he yielded 1 run on 4 hits, with no walks and 1 strikeout. With this game in the books, Columbus is 65-47, Pueblo 74-38.

Columbus grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Diaz hit a 3-run home run off Steve Sullivan. His 7th home run of the season put the Bowsers out in front, 3-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Diaz told the Columbus Daily News.
