Heroes Keep Streak Alive With 5-2 Win
The Pueblo Heroes had to overcome a big game from Columbus first baseman Robby Parra to leave Heroes Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 5-2. Parra went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. The win went to Ricky Escobar in relief, making him now 2-0. Carlos del Valle took the loss for Columbus. Nick Ashworth recorded the save, his 14th.

In the top of the fourth, the Heroes found themselves in a jam. Columbus had the bases loaded with two out. The score was 5-0, Pueblo. Matt Mims was at the plate, hoping to deal the Heroes a serious blow. Instead, he grounded out to end the threat.

Pueblo has now won 10 straight.
