Bowsers Lose Late to Werewolves
The London Werewolves topped the Columbus Bowsers by a score of 7-4. Leading the way was shortstop Roberto Vazquez. Vazquez went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Werewolves. Ben Foster earned the save for London, his 31st. The Werewolves go to 60-47, putting them third in the Southern A West Division.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Vazquez delivered big-time for London, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Chad Iverson. The game-changing hit put the Werewolves on top, 5-4.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Vazquez told the London Observer.
