Bangor first baseman Steve Benitez had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Columbus Bowsers, 8-7. With the win over Columbus, the Lumberjacks improved to 45-60.

Bangor took the lead, 8-6, on Mark Brown's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Columbus pitcher Josh Adams in the bottom of the eighth.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Bangor skipper Shawn Banks.
