The Nashua Sweepers powered past the London Werewolves, 9-7, at Werewolves Ballpark. Jose Corona provided some of the pop. He went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Andrew Rogers notched his 4th save in 6 chances. Nashua raised its record to 54-48 with the win.

The Sweepers got a big hit from first baseman Jesse Lang. Facing London pitcher Kevin Irons in the top of the fifth, Lang pounded a grand slam home run to left. His 7th home run of the season put the Sweepers ahead, 9-1.

"We've got some hairy guys on our side, too," said Nashua manager Tony Allen.
