Keys Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Tropics
The White Deer Tropics cut down the Long Beach Keys by the score of 7-5 in 12 innings. Much of the credit went to right fielder Preston Hoffman. Hoffman was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Tropics. Javier Torres picked up the win in relief. Josh DeYoe took the loss for Long Beach. The slumping Keys have lost 6 straight.

White Deer needed the clutch hitting of Mike Sisson to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Tropics on top, 7-5. For the game, Sisson had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
