Lake Elsinore Sent Home with 7-1 Loss
The Bangor Lumberjacks topped the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-1, in Southern A action at Ballpark of Bangor. The game was highlighted by the performance of Bangor first baseman Jason Bovill. The winning pitcher was Jeremy Reich. His record now stands at 4-5. The right-hander went 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Lumberjacks. Joe Petersen sewed up the save, his 3rd.

Bangor took a 7-1 lead on Bovill's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off John Richardson in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Bangor to the win.

"It feels good to get this one," Bovill told the Bangor Today.

Bangor is now 54-50, Lake Elsinore 19-85.
