Partons Grind Out 2-0 Win

In a low-scoring contest between the Dollywood Partons and the Barrie Admirals, John Wicken was the X factor. The Dollywood left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. The winning pitcher was Wicken, now 1-0. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 2. Dollywood has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.
The Partons got an important contribution from third baseman Lance Parrent, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a fastball to right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Partons ahead, 2-0.
