Sweepers Come Up Short at Columbus, 5-4
|
The Columbus Bowsers dealt the Nashua Sweepers a 5-4 loss at Ballpark of Columbus. Dave Puskas went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Nashua's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
With Columbus leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Puskas hit a fastball from Jose Zapata for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Bowsers ahead, 4-0.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Puskas.
