Dollywood Slaps 4-2 Loss on Tropics

The Dollywood Partons faced a tough opponent in White Deer pitcher Antonino Sauli, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of White Deer by a final score of 4-2. Sauli went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Picking up the win was Tyler Wright. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 0. Dollywood is looking good at 83-16.
Dollywood used a clutch at-bat from Chris McCarty to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Partons ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
McCarty said his team "played with determination."
