Wetmore Launches 2 Dingers, But Columbus Wins
|
Lake Elsinore first baseman Tim Wetmore pounded Columbus Bowsers pitchers at Dust Devils Ballpark, but it was not enough to keep the Storm from falling, 8-4. Wetmore was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Mike Hinton picked up the win, lifting his record to 4-0 on the season. He struck out 5 and walked 1 in 6 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Lake Elsinore, at 29-70, has lost 4 straight.
