Lance Parrent batted in 5 runs to lead Dollywood to a win over Long Beach. The final score was 8-4. Parrent chipped in 2 singles and 2 home runs. Dollywood pitcher Adam Begue got the win, upping his record to 10-2. Josh Boyd got the loss. The defeat makes Long Beach 36-65.

With Dollywood leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Parrent hit a cutter from Aaron Santiago for a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Partons ahead, 4-0.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Dollywood skipper Adam Freeman.
