Heroes Suffer 4-3 Road Loss
The Mexico City Aztecs defeated the Pueblo Heroes, 4-3, in Southern A action at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Mexico City pitcher Adam Brittain had a standout performance. Bryan Moody closed the door for Mexico City, picking up his 1st save of the year. The first-place Aztecs now have a win-loss record of 66-34.

Omar Snell, who is tied for 3rd in the S-A in home runs with 23, took Pueblo hurler Phil Shull deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 3-run home run put the Aztecs on top, 4-3. In all, Snell had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Mexico City manager Dan Martinez said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
