Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Admirals
|
Admirals second baseman Adam Davis left his imprint on his team's 8-5 win over the White Deer Tropics. Davis was 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for Barrie in the contest. Rafael Baray picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-4. Dave Crumpacker suffered the loss. Joey Bove earned his 4th save, after closing out the game.
The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Davis delivered big-time for Barrie, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Dave Crumpacker. The game-changing hit put the Admirals on top, 8-5.
"I do my best to contribute," said Davis.
The defeat makes White Deer 50-50.
