The White Deer Tropics earned a win at Wizards Stadium, knocking off the Kalamazoo Comets, 5-3. On the bump for White Deer was right-hander Jake Fish. He had a starring role in the triumph. Dustin Mitchell earned the save, his 10th in 11 tries. White Deer has now won 6 in a row.

It could have been a different outcome for White Deer, had it not been for Mike Henschel, the 24-year old shortstop . Henschel contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put White Deer up, 4-3.

"I had a good game plan," said Fish. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Brendan Rees said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
