Admirals Send Columbus Home with 7-0 Loss
Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Bill Molohon, who is tied for 10th in the S-A in home runs with 18, the Barrie Admirals defeated the Columbus Bowsers, 7-0. Alberto Quijada picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Alex Lozada suffered the loss. Joey Bove closed the door for Barrie, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Barrie second baseman Chris Malone helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Said losing manager Joe Mills: "Give the Admirals credit. They played a better game than we did."

The win puts Barrie at 56-39 this season.
