The Columbus Bowsers defeated the Barrie Admirals, 9-4, at Ballpark of Columbus. Columbus was led by 24-year old third baseman Roger Fana, who went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk. Columbus has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

With Columbus leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Jesse Rupp hit a run-scoring single off Barrie pitcher Joaquin Santiago. It put the Bowsers ahead 5-3.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Fana told the Columbus Daily News.
