Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Ballpark of Lexington.

Benefiting from Aaron Coulson's productive game, the New Rochelle Purple Wave downed the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 6-5. Coulson was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times for the Purple Wave. Mike Dineen picked up the win in relief. Jerardo Perez took the loss for Quebec. Jesus Henriguez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 7 save opportunities.

New Rochelle took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when David Pierce hit a clutch grand slam home run to bring Purple Wave fans to their feet.

"We want to make a habit of winning," Coulson said after the game.
